PoliceWorks® Case is a fully integrated Case management module, fully supporting the Electronic Case file, Digital Evidence and Digital First programmes. Details of defendants, witnesses, victims and Police staff are fully managed as are all case related documents and all exhibits.
Case files can be generated independently or via associated Custody and Investigation records, allowing previously captured information such as defendants/suspects, witnesses, documents and property to be shared between linked events.
The solution has been developed specifically to support full Magistrates’ and Crown Court resulting, as well as non-court disposals. It also fully supports the Electronic Case file, Digital Evidence and Digital First programmes.
The PoliceWorks® Case module manages full case documentation in line with the Pre-Trials Issues Manual of Guidance and guidance issued by the Director of Public Prosecutions, ensuring that only those documents required for the case need actually be completed.
Documents may be generated by the Custody or Case modules and automatically included in the Case file. Scanned documents and other digital documentation may be uploaded.
PoliceWorks® Case provides an innovative resource planning tool which enables Forces to view a chronological timeline of case tasks and deadlines assigned to team members, allowing the efficient management of workload to timescale.
